✨ Getting Started: Week 1
I launched Bite Sized Bots just two weeks ago, with no content system, no YouTube channel, no newsletter — and no prior experience using most of the AI tools I now rely on daily.
My goal? To explore how AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can be practical, approachable, and genuinely useful — not overwhelming.
If you're curious about why I started this journey in the first place, I shared the full backstory here:
👉 The Bite Sized Bots Origin Story: How AI Transformed My Marketing Journey
I knew I had to start somewhere. And I’ll be honest — I have a bit of a perfectionist streak. I can get obsessive about getting everything “just right” before calling it done.
What I’m learning is this: “Published is better than perfect” — especially when it comes to content.
Here’s how I kicked things off in Week 1.
🛠️ Setting Up My Brand and Tools
I began by establishing the basics:
My domain and email through Namecheap and Zoho
My visual identity and style guide in Canva
Draft brand voice guide with the help of ChatGPT
The brand logo for Bite Sized Bots was created using Canva AI - an AI-powered tool in Canva that designed the logo for me with just a few back-and forth prompts.

Getting my email integrated with Beehiiv, my newsletter platform, was a bit bumpy — Zoho’s setup took longer than expected, especially with domain verification. When I got stuck, I used ChatGPT for step-by-step walkthroughs. While not every answer was perfect, I refined prompts and pushed forward until I got what I needed.
Once I got all the platforms verified and connected, using Beehiiv has been very smooth. Its interface is clean and easy to navigate.
🎥 YouTube Creation (Week 1)
I chose Tella for screen recording which is incredibly easy. For video editing, graphic images and animation, Canva was my MVP, and ElevenLabs made it simple to generate professional AI generated voiceovers (mind blowing!).
It took me way longer than I’d like to admit to figure out how to stitch everything together into one cohesive video— but ChatGPT was a great tutor and tech support assistant. After getting over that Week 1 learning curve, Week 2 felt smooth and nearly seamless.

🔁 Week 2: Building Operational Flow
In Week 2, I focused on building a repeatable weekly workflow for creating and publishing my content. I even started using Trello to manage it all — with setup help from ChatGPT and Claude.

🗓️ My Daily Content Structure
Here’s how I structured my content production week:
Day | Focus | Actual Time Spent |
|---|---|---|
Sunday | Planning, research | ~4 hours |
Monday | Newsletter creation | ~4 hours |
Tuesday | YouTube prep + newsletter publishing | 45 min |
Wednesday | Finalize newsletter, thumbnails, video demo | ~3.5 hours |
Thursday | Record/edit voiceover, finalize YouTube | ~3 hours |
Friday | Launch | 1 hour |
I’ll likely cut down my daily task time as I get more familiar with the workflow, fine-tune my prompts, and start building my AI prompt library.
⚙️ What’s New in My Workflow (Week 2)
Started using Trello for content planning and task tracking
Updated Beehiiv thumbnails to better align with my brand using Canva AI
Recorded a live ChatGPT demo using Tella for my video content
Started experimenting with sound effects in Canva
Began building my AI prompt library for ongoing content research and task support

💡 Lessons Learned
Week 2 felt significantly more efficient — not because the tasks were easier, but because I finally put my systems into action and got more comfortable with the tools.
Trello helped me stay organized, and the AI tools made it easier to move forward without getting stuck in the weeds.
The real breakthrough? Letting go of my perfectionist tendencies. I’m learning that hitting “publish” regularly — even when it’s not 100% flawless — builds momentum and helps me improve each time.
I’m starting to find a rhythm and build confidence in the process — and that’s a win in itself.

🔮 What’s Next

Continue building my Prompt Library
Improve video editing and sound design
Expand my mastery level across all of my tech tools
If you're also just starting your AI journey, I hope this behind-the-scenes look helps you see that you don’t need to know everything to get started. You just need to take the first couple of steps.
